Did Martha Stewart really get a tattoo of her friend Snoop Dogg?

That's the question on fans' minds after the lifestyle mogul, 81, appeared to unveil new ink of the rapper, 51, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., on Instagram Friday.

"My Dogg! Thanks for the amazing tattoo @scottcampbell," Stewart wrote, along with a photo of herself with celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell. "Forever linked in ink to my favorite @snoopdogg."

In the photo, Stewart shows what appears to be a tattoo of the rapper's face with the words "My Dogg" on her left shoulder. Campbell shared the same picture on his Instagram, writing: "I got to tattoo a legend onto a legend. Thanks @marthastewart48 and @snoopdogg. I can retire now"

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives of Stewart for comment and further details.

Many fans got a kick out of Stewart's post — even if they think the tattoo is totally fake.

"I feel like this is 100% not real, although I sure... wish it was!" wrote @nellierocketh.

"I don’t even care if this is fake, I am LIVING for it!" wrote @cutezielutzie.

Fans also pointed out the reveal of the alleged tattoo seems come at a convenient time for the businesswoman: She and Snoop Dogg have a Super Bowl ad for Sketchers airing this weekend.

"Maybe a teaser for a Super Bowl commercial??" wrote @mj_the_rva_yorkie.

"Is this a new Super Bowl commercial," wrote @acuriousgeorge.
