Kevin Hart was involved in a car crash just before 1 a.m. on Sunday in Malibu Hills, California — one that left him hospitalized after sustaining major back injuries. And celebrities, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Martha Stewart and Bryan Cranston, showed their support on social media for the comedian.

According to a report of collision filed by California Highway Patrol and obtained by the radio station KNX1070, Hart was a passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver, Jared S. Black, lost control of the vehicle, rolled over and landed in an embankment. It’s reported that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol.

Currently hospitalized in L.A., Hart is reportedly undergoing tests to determine if he will need back surgery. Both he and the driver sustained “major back injuries,” according to the report. A third passenger — Black’s fiancée and Hart’s personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman — was present but did not sustain major injuries.

Following news of Hart’s accident, Johnson, Hart’s Jumanji co-star, shared a photo on Instagram of himself and Hart, captioning the photo: “Stop messing with my emotions brother. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong.”

Bryan Cranston also took to Instagram, captioning a photo of him and Hart, “I’ve just heard that @kevinhart4real was injured today in a car accident in Los Angeles. Let’s all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He’s a good human. Get well soon, brother. B.”

And Martha Stewart tweeted in support of Hart, too, writing: “Best wishes to Kevin Hart. I hope he will be okay after his horrific accident. And of course best wishes for safe survival to all those affected by storm Dorian. Be careful!”

According to Page Six, Hart is allegedly able to walk, and the doctors are “optimistic” that he will make a full recovery.

And let’s hope he does. Here’s to a quick recovery, Hart.
