The trio join a lineup of the magazine's past cover stars for the forthcoming 60th anniversary issue

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a lineup of famous faces.

Earlier this week, the magazine began teasing its SI Swimsuit 60th Anniversary Legends shoot, which features a cast of epic proportions shot by YuTsai in Florida.

Editor-in-chief MJ Day rounded up 29 of the magazine’s past models, including Martha Stewart, 82, Maye Musk, 75, and Christie Brinkley, 70, who lead the pack of bombshells in the spread.

Last year, Stewart became the oldest cover star in 2023, breaking Musk’s 2022 record. Meanwhile, Brinkley is a three-time SI Swim cover model.

Leading up to her big debut last year, Stewart told PEOPLE that she threw all modesty out the window for the gig — which involved a plunging one-piece. “They're prodding you and pulling and straightening — so I had to grin and bear it,” she said.

Two years ago, when Musk had own her covergirl moment at 74, she told PEOPLE that she believed her debut would encourage women of all ages to feel “more comfortable” rocking a bathing suit.

"When women go to the beach, we're kind of shy about our bodies, but men will walk around, looking terrible, and they don't care," she said. "I think we have to not care that much!"

Brinkley also recently opened up to PEOPLE about turning the ‘big 7-0” on Feb. 2. “I think 70 is very similar to 50, in that it's a time when you look both back and forward,” she shared, adding that she’s embracing her wrinkles as they come. “I want a little life to show on my face, you know?”

Fans can also expect to see Paulina Porizkova, 58, Tyra Banks, 50, Molly Sims, 50, Lily Aldridge, 38, Brooklyn Decker, 36, Camille Kostek, 32, Jasmine Sanders, 32, Kate Upton, 31, Hunter McGrady, 30, Winnie Harlow, 29, and Brooks Nader, 27, all of whom were tagged in the behind-the-scenes clips shared to Instagram.

Plus, history-making models Halima Aden (the first Muslim SI Swimsuit model), Leyna Bloom (the first transgender cover star) and Danielle Herrington (the third Black woman to cover the magazine following Banks and Beyoncé) will also be featured.

Fans of SI Swim are eagerly awaiting the 60th anniversary issue, which officially drops in May. The excitement started to build on Feb. 8 when Brittany Mahomes was named a 2024 Rookie just days before her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, set out to play the Super Bowl.

The mom of two and former athlete turned up the heat in fiery red swimsuits, including a daring cutout Mugler one-piece showing off her ribcage tattoo.
