Martha Stewart, 78, shows some leg in minidress at Oscars party — credits ‘horseback riding’ for great gams

Martha Stewart was serving up some leg on the Oscars party circuit.

The domestic doyenne, 78, reminded everyone of her fashion model roots by wearing a black minidress with sheer arms that showcased her legs to the max at the Vanity Fair bash.

Stewart wrote on social media that “horseback riding weekly” — she owns a 153-acre farm in Bedford, NY — “is very good for ones legs.”

Stewart has called herself an “avid horseback rider” and loves to hit the trails on her Friesians, a breed that originated in the Netherlands and are known for their compact, muscular bodies and low tails.

The star often shares photos of adventures with her six horses, which she has said are “very expensive to keep” and compared them to “children,” explaining, “They have to be educated, ridden every day, exercised, washed, bathed, and dried… And their clothes take a lot care — you have to oil the saddles and wash their blankets.”

Stewart’s weekly rides are often trail rides — and she loves going in a groups. She’s even been known to trot over to the local farmers market to pick up fruits and veggies.

Not to be missed: Stewart riding her horse Rinze with “Old Town Road” playing.

While Stewart credits riding for those legs, she’s always on the move. At her farm, she’s doing a lot of work herself — cutting acres of grass on a lawnmower — as well as enjoying the massive property, sometimes on country skis, which she has said is an “excellent way to tour the countryside” but also “really effective aerobic exercise.” And she’s always on the go professionally, attending a dizzying amount of events, including the Oscars festivities, the Super Bowl, Golden Globes parties — and promoting whatever project she has going on with her BFF Snoop Dogg that day.

And let’s not forget that she was a model before she was a domestic expert. She started when she was 15 and went on further to help pay for college. (She was also a stockbroker before becoming a lifestyle expert.)

On Sunday, Stewart made the scene first at the Mercedes-Benz Oscars viewing party at Four Seasons Los Angeles, where she did the step-and-repeat with Glee’s Jane Lynch and chatted with Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and his wife, Dancing With the Stars pro Kym Herjavec.

Later, she was at the Vanity Fair afterparty at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to “to see and be seen.”

Stewart will turn 79 in August. While she said in 2013 that she “never” thinks about aging, she has been known to see an old photo of herself and “wish it was taken last month.” She has also said that some of her anti-aging tips are getting lots of sleep, wearing sunscreen and to “stop complaining. Change what you can and accept what you cannot.”

Whatever the secret is? It agrees with her.
