Mars and Envista set to host ‘Halfway to Halloween’ event
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Mars and Envista are set to host ‘Halfway to Halloween’ this Thursday, May 23, at Evergy Plaza.
Attendees can expect live music performing a variety of different Halloween hits, food vendors, candy give-a-ways and more.
The event comes as Mars celebrates a decade of making candy in Topeka. John Koop, Vice President of resource development and events at Envista, says the company is thrilled to be partnering with Mars.

“They are the Halloween candy capital of the world,” Koop said. “They just called us up and we said we are ready to go!”
A refrigerated semi-truck filled with four pallets of chocolate will be available for guests, as well as a completely Halloween decked-out plaza, and an guest appearance from Nightmare on the Boulevard.
