Marques Houston And Wife Miya Welcome Second Child, A Baby Boy
Marques Houston and his wife, Miya, have announced the birth of their second child—a son named Greyson.
The couple revealed on Wednesday (Dec. 27) that they welcomed their baby boy into the family earlier this month on Dec. 13 by debuting new family portraits.
“On December 13th we welcomed our sweet baby boy. We are so in love and couldn’t feel more complete,” wrote the Houstons in a joint Instagram post.
They first announced they were expecting back in September via a touching video of Miya showcasing her pregnant belly as she walked along the beach during sunset. In November, they confirmed that they were having a boy.
Marques and Miya previously welcomed their first child—a daughter named Zara—in December 2021. When the Houstons first became parents, they told US Weekly, “It still feels surreal, like, it hasn’t set in yet that we are actually not just babysitting one of our friends’ kids. But not getting any sleep definitely reminds us that we are now parents.”
The self-proclaimed Tubi King, 42, proposed to Miya in March 2019—after five months of dating. They exchanged vows in August 2020.
After being condemned for marrying a woman 20 years his junior, Marques explained to Page Six, “There’s a lot of women my age I’ve dated, they may have baggage. They may have kids, they may not. There’s so many different women I’ve been with throughout my life, and it just so happens to be that this one [Miya] caught my heart. Everything that I prayed for — and everything that I wanted in a woman — she came with. Although she was young, I’m young in spirit.”
