During his concert Saturday at Nashville’s Vanderbilt Stadium, Luke Bryan brought Dustin Lunch, Thomas Rhett and Randy Houser onstage to perform Maroon 5‘s “Sugar” for a full house of 40,000. Putting a country twist on the track, the boys warmed up beforehand with a shared shot of something very, very strong — or so we can assume, by Bryan’s flustered reaction (purring included) — and an obligatory group selfie.

Boys will be boys, at least in the case of Bryan’s crew, as they stomped their boots and relished in the crowd’s excitement. The four-piece added a Southern twang to the otherwise pop-drenched anthem. With nothing less than a little sweetness, Bryan showed Nashville how he and his country counterparts put it down.
