Marlo Hampton Finally Breaks Her Silence on Whether or Not She Wants a Peach on 'RHOA'
For many years the popular Real Housewives franchise has become the Go-To series for people that love to see middle-aged affluent women fight like teenagers over the silliest of issues because, let's face it, that makes for great television. Especially great REALITY television. But unfortunately, sometimes these shows primarily focus on a nucleus of ladies while other women, affectionately referred to as "friends of the show", circle their orbit of attention vying for their chance to touch down on Planet Fame.

One of the most popular shows within the Real Housewives universe is The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now in its twelfth season fans are enjoying catching up with some of their favorite ladies including Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and the woman who turns shade into a master class NeNe Leakes. And though most of them have been doing the show for a long time (with the exception of Marcille) there's another woman who's always been around that's never been upgraded to series regular.
Marlo Hampton has always remained somewhat of a mystery to RHOA viewers, even though she's just as vicious as the rest of them. But she's never been granted the coveted "peach" that would solidify her place among the series regulars. In an interview with Ebony earlier this year longtime cast member Bailey offered her own thoughts about why Hampton, who is a beloved fan favorite, isn't prepared to be upgraded. And it has absolutely nothing to do with money or lack of followers.
”In my personal opinion I think that anyone that’s holding a peach, I think you have to be willing to share your life, completely. Your personal life and your private life. So, if you’re holding a peach then you have to be willing to give your complete life. And I don’t know if Marlo is willing to do that.”
Celebrity Insider reports that Hampton herself also has some thoughts about obtaining a peach, and they may be shocking to her fans.
"I feel that I deserve a peach for you all. I want you all and my fans to really see my life and just really get to see who Marlo is because there’s so much more than when you see me come on for two seconds to just stir up some drama. I just feel also, on the other hand, I’m good where I’m at. I do feel that God puts you where he wants you to be at."
Regardless of whether she has a peach or not Hampton is clearly here to stay for the long haul.
