Mark Zuckerberg's Horrible Haircut Creates Endless Twitter Jokes

Mark Zuckerberg wasn't only grilled by congress for hours because the Facebook CEO took a beating on social media after he got a fresh cut before his big day.

Zuckerberg testified Wednesday in front of the House Financial Services Committee about Facebook's cryptocurrency, Libra. It was his first testimony to Congress since last year.

Officials are worried the company will try to get around the policy of U.S. lawmakers and are uneasy with the tech company after all the past drama with Facebook's practices around private customer data.

Zuckerberg testified to try and ease congress' worries, and admitted, "I believe that this is something that needs to get built, but I get that I'm not the ideal messenger for this right now."

Even though there were serious matters at hand, the public and some politicians could not get over Zuckerberg's bowl haircut, which looked like he was ready for his first day of school.

Zuckerberg soon became a trending topic on Twitter, and it was all over those who couldn't understand what he was thinking when he sat in the barber's chair.

Some people shared their own horror stories from childhood, like this woman who ended up with a similar haircut after getting gum stuck in her hair.

Others thought about trolling their own barber by asking for "The Zuckerberg."

Others thought the look wasn't helping those robot rumors.

Political Burn

Civilians weren't the only ones getting in on the fun, because California Representative Katie Porter actually addressed Zuck's hairdo when it was her turn to grill the Facebook honcho.

"Mr. Zuckerberg, I know Facebook can be sometimes an unkind place, both toward my personal appearance and today apparently towards your haircut."

She continued, "But as the mother of a teenage boy I just want to say thanks for modeling the short cut."

After the fun and games, Porter went pretty hard on Zuckerberg and even challenged him to be a content moderator on Facebook.
