Mark Zuckerberg Says This McDonald’s Deserves a Michelin Star as He Visits with His Wife Priscilla Chan

The Meta CEO and his wife have been sharing their highlights from a trip to Japan

Mark Zuckerberg is loving it.

The Meta CEO shared his thoughts on McDonald’s food in Japan in a Facebook post on Tuesday. “Japanese McDonald's: 10/10. Give these guys a Michelin star,” wrote Zuckerberg, 39.

His post included a series of pictures of himself and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, visiting the fast food restaurant. In one shot, Zuckerberg, dressed in a shearling coat, black T-shirt and Meta smart glasses, smiles while holding a partially eaten burger, which appears to be topped with bacon and a fried egg. Chan posed outside the McDonald's wearing a chic, all-black outfit.

Another photo shows the couple’s full food spread. They ordered French fries, McNuggets, several sandwiches — including a teriyaki McBurger and Filet-O-Fish, corn, edamame and two drinks.

Zuckerberg has a big appetite when it comes to the fast food joint.

In August, he shared a long list of his favorite McDonald’s menu items in a post on Threads, his new platform that rivals X (the company formerly known as Twitter). The Threads post started when McDonald's asked “y’all want anything from mcdonald’s?”

Zuckerberg, who does jiu jitsu, wrote back: “20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?”

UFC Fighter Mike Davis responded to the Threads post and called out his training. “You’re in camp! No Mcdonalds 😂,” he wrote.

The tech titan told Davis in response: “Not cutting weight so I need ~4000 calories a day to offset all the activity. And it's so delicious…”

Zuckerberg shared other moments from his recent trip to Japan, like one post about learning how to make swords and another celebrating Chan’s birthday.

The parents of three, who met while they were students at Harvard University in 2003, recently marked the 20th anniversary of their first date.

“We met at a going away party my friends threw for me in college when they thought I was about to get kicked out of school," the billionaire wrote back in November. “I asked her out but told her we'd need to go out soon since I might only have a few days left. Later on I started Facebook, we got married, and now have three wonderful girls. What a wild ride.”

Earlier this month, Zuckerberg celebrated another monumental milestone: Facebook’s 20th anniversary. He shared a pair of throwback social media posts in honor of the day.

One video, set to Aerosmith's "Dream On," featured numerous clips from different stages in Facebook's growth, starting with an image of a young Zuckerberg working from his dorm room at Harvard.

"When we first launched we were hoping for, you know, maybe 400 [or] 500 people. Now we're at 100,000 people," a young Zuckerberg said in one throwback interview. "Who knows where we're going next."

"20 years ago I launched a thing," he captioned the post. "Along the way, lots of amazing people joined and we built some more awesome things. We're still at it and the best is yet to come."

He went on to share another post on social media, which featured a photograph of him working on Facebook in a messy dorm room, while a second image showed him striking a similar pose at his desk circa now.

"20 years in," he wrote. "Still at it."
