Mark Wahlberg's Slam Dunk 'Daddy's Home' Deleted Scene
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s battle royale in the Christmas comedy Daddy’s Home almost extended to the basketball court. In this exclusive deleted scene above from the movie’s upcoming Blu-ray release on March 22, we see Ferrell’s mild-mannered stepdad gently coaching the youth basketball team and reminding them to run his special play that conveniently spells out “HAVE FUN.” That’s when Wahlberg’s tough-talking biological father steps in. After casually dropping his (possibly fake) b-ball cred, including three seasons in an Italian league and a retired jersey in the “Benetton arena,” he slam dunks one for good measure, instructing the kids to “feed the big man,” which in this case, is definitely not Ferrell.
Daddy’s Home will be available for digital download on March 8 and then on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on March 22.
