Donnie Wahlberg vs. Mark Wahlberg: Who’s the Favorite Son?
Move over, Marky Mark! We have official confirmation that Donnie Wahlberg is Alma Wahlberg’s favorite son.
On Monday, during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, Donnie — who is one of nine children — told Michael Strahan and guest co-host Shay Mitchell that while all the Wahlberg kids think “they’re the favorite,” he is actually his mom’s top pick.
“She’s told them all in some way, ‘You’re kind of my favorite,’ but I’m really her favorite,” he bragged.
The 46-year-old musician/actor/reality star told Strahan and Kelly Ripa the same story back in 2013. But on Monday, Strahan decided to go straight to the source. After surprising Donnie with his mom on the phone, Strahan proceeded to ask Alma, “Out of all your children, is Donnie your favorite?"
