Mark Ruffalo Spoiled the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Ending Last Year and Nobody Believed Him (Video)

“Avengers: Infinity War” stormed the box office during its opening weekend to a record haul of $257 million, and much of that was because fans didn’t want to be spoiled on the film’s ending by waiting a week or two.

However, one of the film’s stars, Mark Ruffalo, spoiled the ending to the film… almost a year ago.

(Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you don’t want to know what he said.)

It happened during a “Good Morning America” interview in July 2017. After initially being asked about last year’s “Thor: Ragnarok,” Ruffalo then pivoted the discussion to “Infinity War,” where he teased, “wait until you see this next one, everybody dies.”

“Dude,” co-star Don Cheadle interrupted.

“Not everybody,” Ruffalo added. “Can we rewind that part?”

“Am I in trouble?” Ruffalo asked Cheadle, who responded, “a little.”

Despite that, moviegoers were still largely shocked by the film’s ending, which saw (seriously, spoilers! Dude!) the likes of Black Panther, Spider-Man, Star-Lord and Doctor Strange suddenly turn into dust.

As Ruffalo noted, “not everybody” died. Thanos only wiped out half of sentient life in the universe, leaving Iron Man and Captain America, among others, still standing.

Watch the video above to see why Marvel executives may keep Ruffalo away from the press during the next year.
