Mark Ruffalo is celebrating the "most fun and exciting person" he knows, just in time for her birthday!

On Sunday, the 13 Going on 30 star saluted his wife Sunrise Coigney for her 51st birthday with a touching message on Instagram, alongside a few adorable photos of the pair.

"Happy 51 to my best friend, my partner in all, the most fun and exciting person I have ever known," Ruffalo, 55, wrote on the social media platform. "So happy we found each other and held on for dear life through everything that came and has left."

In the carousel of images, Coigney can be seen dressed in a plaid gown, flailing her arms in the air for a silly pose in a red dress, holding a glass of champagne in a throwback shot, and — in one super cute image — having her picture taken by her husband of 23 years.

"It’s good to know you and to be known by you," the actor added in the caption. "The world is a brighter place in your presence and beauty. Happy happy birthday, pal."

Under Ruffalo's post, several famous pals also toasted Coigney — including actor Evan Handler, philanthropist Irena Medavoy and Naomi Watts.

"Glorious words for your beautiful goddess," Watts wrote of the duo. "We love you @sunnydigs ❤️🙌🔥"

The pair, who met in 1998 and tied the knot in 2000, share three children together. Keen, their eldest child, was born in June 2001, while they welcomed daughters Bella Noche and Odette in May 2005 and October 2007, respectively.

Back in June, Ruffalo uploaded a black-and-white throwback wedding photo in honor of his anniversary with Coigney, when he shared yet another touching tribute.

"Happy 23 years, my friend, my partner, my lover," Ruffalo wrote of his life partner. "Everything beautiful in our lives comes from you. You also happen to keep this whole shambling enterprise on the rails."

"I admire you and love you," he added.

Ruffalo — who actually met Coigney on the street in Los Angeles — said meeting her was something of a love-at-first-sight moment back in the late '90s, per Men's Journal.

"All I had was my decency, wit, and charm – I didn't have anything," he said at the time. "When I met her, she was like, 'You don't have a driver's license, you don't have a credit card. What is wrong with you, dude? I can't be with you!' I was living in a converted garage, and she was there for that, she was game. She believed in me. She was like, 'I know you're a really good actor,' and I was like, 'You haven't really seen me act yet.' And she was like, 'I just know it, I can tell.'"

Ruffalo's latest film, Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things, premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month. It is set to release theatrically in the U.S. in December.
