Mark Ruffalo Says There’s a ‘Lot More Hulk’ in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

One of the questions surrounding Captain America: Civil War was the noticeable absence of two of the mightiest Avengers: Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. In reality, they weren’t included because the screenwriters thought they were too powerful and would make any battle a short one. In terms of plot, Thor left at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron to return to Asgard and Bruce Banner ghosted because he was afraid of hurting Black Widow.

The two are set to return, however, in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ruffalo put on a conductor hat, blew a whistle, and beckoned us to board the hype train.

He described the third Thor feature as “an intergalactic buddy road movie.” Neat! He also said that we’ll get to see a lot more Hulk. Also neat! He added that Cate Blanchett, who is joining the MCU as Hela, “plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. It’s such a great part she gets to play.” That’s neat too.

Ragnarok looks like it’s going to be a fun movie. Appearing alongside Hemsworth, Ruffalo, and Blanchett will be Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge. And returning to the franchise are Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. It hits theaters in November 2017.
