Mark Geragos is no longer a contributor at CNN following multiple reports he was the unnamed attorney listed as a co-conspirator in the Michael Avenatti extortion case.

Multiple reports outed Geragos as the lawyer who is referred to in the complaint against Avenatti as “an attorney licensed in California who’s known for his representation of celebrity and public figure clients.”

Geragos was not named in the complaint and has not been charged with a crime.

The celebrity attorney famously represented Chris Brown several times and is currently working with Jussie Smollet.

A CNN spokesperson said that Mark Geragos was “no longer a contributor” following today’s news.
