Mark Consuelos is taking a walk down memory lane!

During an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark on Friday, Consuelos, 52, took viewers on a tour around the Big Apple for one of the show’s segments, “Live Loves New York.” Along the way, the Riverdale actor stopped at some sites that hold a special place in his heart — including the very first apartment he shared with his wife Kelly Ripa.

As Consuelos opens the door to his former abode, his face lights up and he says, “Oh, man.” The camera pans around the renovated kitchen that looks “a little different” from when he lived there more than two decades ago with his wife of 27 years.

Standing in the pair’s old bedroom, Consuelos explains: “Now, we had this apartment when we were first married and Kelly was pregnant with Michael,” he says, referring to their 26-year-old son. The couple also share son Joaquin, 20, and daughter Lola, 22.

The Live with Kelly and Mark host continues the apartment tour by sharing some permanent additions he made to the space almost 25 years ago.

“A little known thing is that I put in a washer and dryer here. They had to shut down the building so I could do it,” Consuelos says as he opens the doors to reveal both machines still in place. “And they kept it! They thought it was a good idea. Look at that.”

Another update he made was to the outdoor space, which he refers to as “the key'' to the whole apartment. He steps out to the terrace and admires the building’s sweeping views of New York City before making his way to the satellite dish on the wall.

With a smile, he says, “Oh my gosh! I did that. It’s still here 25 years later. How wild is that?”

Consuelos then visits the last area in the apartment, his son’s old bedroom, where he reminisces about the wall decorations that used to be there. “Such great memories here,” he concludes.

After reminiscing at the apartment, Consuelos takes viewers to a bench in Central Park that Ripa made special just for him.

Pointing to the bench equipped with a plaque that reads “Daddy Cool,” the actor says, “My wife dedicated this one to me for my birthday. I’ve got my own park bench.”

He also made sure to stop at the place “where it all began” — the building where he first met Ripa while filming All My Children in 1995. The pair have since returned to fans’ screens as co-hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark, for which Consuelos officially made his debut in April.

Standing in front of the spot that kickstarted both his love story and career, Consuelos reflects: “This building holds so much meaning for me. Some things do change, some things stay the same — and for good reason.”
