Mario Lopez is Having Another Baby!

On Wednesday, actor Mario Lopez announced that he recently spent time in the hospital to have surgery after he tore his bicep while sparring.

Taking It Easy

The "Saved By the Bell" actor revealed the news on Sept. 18, saying the surgery was a "success."

“Evidently, I’m not 25yrs old anymore. Tore my biceps sparring. Might have to take it down a notch. Surgery was a success. Thank you Dr. Itamura!” he said in his Instagram posts.

On a picture of himself in a hospital bed, he wrote: “[Woman Crush Wednesday] Nurse Lopez. And shout out to the other wonderful ladies who are taking care of me in recovery!”

Not That Venus

Lopez had to get some vials of blood taken and of course was joking around with the phlebotomist.

"My man Jesse here," he says about the phlebotomist, who then explained that he studied the venous system, naturally.

That caused Lopez to riff into the Bananarama song "Venus."

Meet Mario Lopez, the Cyborg

For his #ThrowbackThursday post, Lopez made reference to his appearance at last year's Emmys:

"#TBT Last year at the Emmys rockin a medical boot for my torn Achilles. This year gonna sport an arm brace for my torn biceps. Let’s hope next year I’m not rockin a neck brace or body cast!"

At least he has a sense of humor about the whole thing.

Isn't He Already Immortal?

He says he has to wear a brace for several weeks and noted his self-care routine will be slightly different during that time.

“Now I gotta brush my teeth, shave, do everything else with my left hand. RoboCop!”

An 'Incredible Hulk' Hand To Go With His New Leg

He assured fans he'll be all set to go for the Emmys on Sunday.

“I made it. I’m groggy as hell, but I made it. I’ve got an Incredible Hulk hand, and they gave me some good painkillers, so I’ll be ready to go in like three days on the Emmys red carpet. I’m gonna ride a bike in like two days, I think. My wife took care of me though, she rocks. Love you honey.”
