Marilyn Monroe’s Final Movie Script Up for Auction

A movie script that Marilyn Monroe personally used while shooting her last film, “Something’s Got To Give” is going up for auction.

The 149-page screenplay from 1962 includes the star’s own notes, from creative comments to dialogue directions. The star wrote on about 42 pages, in pencil and green ink. The film was never completed.

There’s also a small card that reveals the legendary actress’s schedule for the production. The handwritten note shows call times along with scenes to be shot. The minimum bid for the script is set for $20,000.

Earlier this year, one of Monroe’s most infamous dresses sold for $4.8 million, a sparkly nude number that she wore to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy. It was decorated more than 2,500 rhinestones, and originally cost $12,000 in 1962.
