Marilyn Manson cancels two weeks of tour dates due to injury
Marilyn Manson is officially taking time off from his ongoing tour.
A representative for the shock rocker has confirmed that his scheduled concerts between Oct. 2 in Boston and Oct. 14 in Houston are now canceled, and that the tour should resume the next day in Grand Prairie, Texas. The canceled performances may be rescheduled for a later date, though nothing has been set or decided yet. (The predetermined final date of the tour was Oct. 28.)
The two-week cancellation comes as a result of injuries Manson sustained after being crushed by a falling stage prop Saturday night. He was taken to a local hospital and while a rep clarified to Variety that he was “fine,” there remained serious questions about his ability to perform upcoming concerts for the tour. At this point it appears that Manson is not drastically injured but needs some time to recuperate at his home in Los Angeles.

Manson’s tour is in support of his upcoming LP Heaven Upside Down, his 10th studio album. It was scheduled back in July and has been running since Sept. 27. Heaven Upside Down is still set for release Oct. 6.
