Marijuana-themed sandwich shop Cheba Hut closes only Cincinnati location

Cheba Hut, the marijuana-themed sandwich spot known for its "toasted" subs, has closed.

The Corryville store is the only Cheba Hut location in Greater Cincinnati and Ohio, according to the company's online map. Cheba Hut announced its closure in a Facebook post late last month.

In the post, the business said "a combination of factors" led to the closing.

"Cincy and the Short Vine community have shown us nothing but love for years now," the post read. "We can only hope we've been able to reciprocate with that same love and appreciation, and that you've made lasting memories inside of these 4 walls."

Cheba Hut opened on Short Vine in 2021. The chain has locations across the U.S. and offers sandwiches, salads, drinks, desserts and munchies.
