Marianne Faithfull Taps Nick Cave for New Song “The Gypsy Faerie Queen”: Listen

Marianne Faithfull has shared a new song with Nick Cave. It’s titled “The Gypsy Faerie Queen,” and it’s the first single from her 21st studio album, Negative Capability. Take a listen below.

Faithfull and Cave worked together before on numerous occasions, with their most recent collaboration “Late Victorian Holocaust” (from Give My Love to London) being released in 2014. Negative Capability, out November 2, features production from Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey) and the Bad Seeds’ Warren Ellis. It also features a song co-written by Mark Lanegan titled “They Come at Night,” inspired by the Bataclan attack in Paris.
