‘Mariah's World’ Gets Premiere Date at E! — Watch the Bizarre New Trailer

Mariah’s World will begin turning in late 2016.
E!’s Mariah Carey-fronted unscripted series will bow on Dec. 4 at 9/8c — but do not call it a reality show. “I don’t consider it reality,” Carey, perched in a purple throne and surrounded by nearly a dozen shirtless models, told reporters Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “It’s my life. It feels like a documentary. I don’t even watch reality [TV]. I don’t even know what reality is.”

The eight-part series will follow the flamboyant pop star as she kicks off the European leg of her latest concert tour all while planning her upcoming nuptials. Per E!, Carey has granted the network “exclusive access to her life behind the mic, including her family, friends and inner circle.”
Carey hinted that her estranged husband Nick Canon may turn up on the show, before playfully adding, “I don’t know if he’ll make the final cut.”
Ultimately, Carey said her goal with the series is “to make it something that can be a lasting piece of work for my fans. And for my kids.”
