Monroe also shared a series of throwback photos with her mom, simply captioning her post, "happy mother’s day to the best mom in the world!! 🫶 @mariahcarey."

Speaking with PEOPLE earlier this spring while promoting his new commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings, Nick Cannon, who shares Moroccan and Monroe with Carey, said his priority was enjoying special time with his older daughters for Valentine's Day.

"Normally what I do, I take my daughters out on that day specifically," Cannon told PEOPLE, noting that his other daughters "don't grasp the concept just yet" of Valentine's Day, given their young ages.

Cannon said he will leave the celebrations to his two oldest girls for now. "I'm definitely going to do something fun with Monroe and Powerful," Cannon reiterated. "... Just making sure everybody feels loved. No major plans, but just spreading the love."

The proud dad also opened up about the fact that the oldest two of his twelve kids will officially be teenagers this spring.

"It’s crazy, man. I was just talking to them about that," Cannon said.

"13! That's a big age, too. I remember that age like it was yesterday," he continued. "Then you think in five more years they'll be college students and adults, and it's like, 'Whoa. Wow.' Time flies like crazy."

"You scroll through your iPhone and they send you those photos like, 'This was three years ago today,' and you are like, 'Yo, I thought that was last week,' " added Cannon. "You just see the growth just right before your eyes."
