Mariah Carey’s Twins Are Jokingly Sick Of “All I Want For Christmas Is You”: “Mom, Not Again!”

Mariah Carey and her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, are in on the joke about them being over Carey’s hit record, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
In the video, Carey wrote, “Braved the cold and put my own spin on the trend!” as her children sighed in annoyance about the classic holiday tune. “Mom, please. We don’t want to do this every time,” they said begrudgingly before the 54-year-old broke out into song saying “[she’s] just being festive.” Sneakily, the children ease out of frame as she sings the openings lyrics to “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
“Had to do it! Merry Christmas Eve!!,” said the Queen of Christmas in the Instagram caption.
Friends of the singer joined in on the joke in the comments of the post. Elaine Welteroth wrote, “Let an icon be an icon on her day!” as Muni Long dubbed Carey a “Comedic Queen.” Meanwhile, fans chimed in with one writing, “They living off this song for GENERATIONS. They can participate in the promotional videos!”
The adorable skit comes as “All I Want For Christmas Is You” breaks a new Spotify record and reclaims its No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200 charts. Carey is now the first artist with three No. 1s to spend 14 weeks on the Hot 100, according to Billboard.
“I can’t thank you enough for making this Christmas (and honestly, this entire season!) so celebratory for me,” Carey expressed of the feats. “Even though it is December 26, Christmas never ends for me (ha ha!) and I will keep sharing some of our festive moments from the past week with you!” She and the twins are currently sharing snippets from their annual Aspen vacation following the conclusion of her Merry Christmas One And All! tour.
