Mariah Carey’s little girl is all grown up, and she’s feeling all the emotions!

On Saturday, the “It’s a Wrap” singer, 54, shared that the days of preventing her daughter, Monroe, who turns 13 next month, from sporting certain hairstyles are over.

In a new Instagram Story post, the mother of two — she also shares son Moroccan with ex Nick Cannon — revealed that her daughter’s hair was straightened for the first time.

In the shot, Monroe’s newly straightened tresses reached her midsection, and she stuck out her tongue as her mom snapped the pic. Moroccan, on the other hand, was barely visible in the corner of the shot — and was still rocking his natural curls.

She also added two emojis to emphasize her exasperation, along with the hashtag “#MommyGivesIn.”

Carey is not the only one who wishes the twins would stop getting so old so quickly!

Speaking with PEOPLE in January, Cannon, 43, said it’s “crazy” that Monroe and Moroccan are turning 13 in April.

"It’s crazy, man. I was just talking to them about that," he said.

"Thirteen! That's a big age, too,” he continued. “I remember that age like it was yesterday. Then you think in five more years they'll be college students and adults, and it's like, 'Whoa. Wow.' Time flies like crazy."

And seeing old photos of Monroe and Moroccan makes it even harder to believe that they will become teenagers this year, the former Wild 'N Out host said.

"You scroll through your iPhone and they send you those photos like, 'This was three years ago today,' and you are like, 'Yo, I thought that was last week,' " added Cannon, who is also a father to 10 other children. "You just see the growth just right before your eyes."

Last year, Carey also reacted to her and Cannon’s kids growing up, telling PEOPLE, "Don't rush all of our lives. They're still 12."

"They're good, nice kids," she added. "They're kind-hearted people, and I really enjoy being around them and watching them grow up into the people that they're ultimately going to become."
