Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Each Take One of Their Twins on a One-on-One Valentine's Dinner

The co-parents split up their twins for special time with each parent

Mariah Carey and son Moroccan (L), Monroe (R)Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey spent some special time with their twins on Valentine's Day.
The Masked Singer host, 43, spent a night out with daughter Monroe, enjoying dinner and desserts together. The proud dad shared a photo of his 12-year-old daughter on Instagram as she posed in front of a sign that says "All you need is love."
"Best Valentine's Date Ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️," he wrote in the caption.
While the father and daughter were out, the twins' mom, Mariah Carey, enjoyed time out with son Moroccan.
"My funny Valentine 💕💕💕," she captioned the sweet set of shots.

Speaking with PEOPLE last month while promoting his new commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings, the father of twelve said his priority was enjoying special time with his older daughters on the holiday.
"Normally what I do, I take my daughters out on that day specifically," Cannon told PEOPLE, noting that his other daughters "don't grasp the concept just yet" of Valentine's Day, given their young ages.
Cannon said he will leave the celebrations to his two oldest girls for now. "I'm definitely going to do something fun with Monroe and Powerful," Cannon reiterated. "... Just making sure everybody feels loved. No major plans, but just spreading the love."
In addition to daughter Powerful, Cannon also shares plus sons Rise Messiah, 16 months, and Golden Sagon, who turns 7 later this month, with Brittany Bell.
He is also a dad to twins 2½-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 15 months, with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love, 19 months, with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole, 17 months with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon similarly has two children with Alyssa Scott — son Zen, who died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie, 13 months.
