No, that's not a typo: Mariah Carey appeared to intentionally tweet about meeting President Clinton "and her husband."

The singer posted photos of herself and the Clintons on Monday, after all three attended Barbra Streisand's Madison Square Garden concert on Sunday. Her caption was clearly meant to be cheeky, and throw shade at President Donald Trump.

"An honor to meet President Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton!" Carey wrote, followed by a smiley-face emoji to emphasize the joke. "Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for our country."

Perhaps Carey was inspired by Streisand's politically charged performance from the weekend to post something herself.

In the MSG show, Streisand performed a reworked version of "Send in the Clowns" that took jabs at Trump.

But Carey stuck to Twitter and didn't mention the president. Instead, she focused on meeting the Clintons, to whom she has likely been introduced before.

Fans dug up photos that appear to show Carey shaking hands with the former president when she performed at the U.S. Capitol in 1996.

The two shook hands again at VH1's 2001 Save the Music event, where they were both honored.
