Mariah Carey Introduces 2 'New Adopted Family Members' — Kittens Nacho and Rocky Jr.

The pop star announced the adoption with a photo of her and her 12-year-old twins holding the tiny animals

Mariah Carey and her new pets belong together!

The “Fantasy” singer, 54, adopted two kittens and shared the news on X with a sweet post.

Carey began with a nod to her song “Can't Let Go," writing, “Summer prolonged... even though I try, I can't let go!”

“Introducing #DemKittens, the new adopted family members: Nacho & Rocky Jr.,” she continued, adding some cat emojis.

Carey included three photos of herself and her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan — whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon — in the post, and debuted her new furry “family members” in one of them.

In the snap, Moroccan holds one of the light orange cats while his sister holds the other with Carey. Both the twins and their famous mom are all smiles in the adorable family picture.

The photo was likely taken very shortly after the family adopted the cats, as one of their collars still read Sugar, rather than its new name (either Nacho or Rocky Jr.).

Alongside the kitten photo, the Butterfly songstress also shared two cute mother-daughter shots with Monroe. In one, the duo, clad in full-body swimwear, smiled in the pool together as they floated on foam noodles. In the other, Carey's in the middle of spreading sauce on a pizza as she and Monroe — still wearing their suits — appeared to customize personal pies.

Carey is a longtime animal lover, and has owned many four-legged friends throughout her life. In 2021, she even enlisted the help of her dogs to sing her iconic song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

In the funny video, Carey belts out the holiday hit, singing “All I want for Christmas is…” as her twins finish the line by howling “you," prompting their pups to bark the final note.

Carey frequently features Monroe and Moroccan in videos she shares online. In July, the singer got glammed up — and donned an all-denim outfit — to film a TikTok with the twins. The duo joined their mom to dance to her song “Touch My Body.”

In the beginning of the video, a glam squad touched up Carey's makeup and hair and, seconds later, Carey started to sing the tune. Then, Monroe popped up on the screen, shortly followed by her brother.

When the video got to the line “I will hunt you down,” the twins made jokingly scared faces while dancing with their mom.

“Why not? Jumping on the trend of my own song lol #touchmybody,” Carey captioned the TikTok.

The twins beat her to it, however, by jumping on the trend earlier in July with their dad. They danced to the song with Cannon, 42, in a video shared on his personal TikTok account.

The Wild ‘N Out host made sure to give a nod to Carey. In the caption of his video, he wrote: "Only Right!! Shout out to Mommy!!!! The Empress Queen of all Queens!"
