The Bombshell actress recently spoke to Variety magazine about her fears that her role in Neighbors would be the biggest thing she ever did in her acting career.

She claimed, "I didn't think there was higher than that for me." After three years on the show, her contract was up, and she subsequently moved to Los Angeles, landing a role as a stewardess on the show Pan Am.

Her big break came in 2013 when she was cast as Naomi in the hit Martin Scorsese film The Wolf Of Wallstreet alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

She Plays Kayla In The Recent Movie 'Bombshell'

In the recent movie Bombshell Margot plays Kayla, a Fox News employee not based on one real person but a mix of many of the women who accused former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment.

She spoke to Variety about her struggle relating to the character she had to play.

She said, "I didn't understand her to begin with. But my process is to do a ton of research, consider every single option, know every single situation, scenario, thought and motivation inside and out, so I can step onto set and then let it all go."

She Had A Method For Understanding Her Conservative Character

The character she plays in the movie is also conservative, and Margot had an interesting method of learning what opinions her character might have.

She explained, "Honestly, the most helpful bit of research I did is I started a fake Twitter account so that I could follow young Millennial conservative girls' accounts and the things they say and their point of view on any issue."

The stunning actress continued, "And that was really fascinating and it was really helpful to see their play-by-play, their opinions coming out and how they put them forward in the world."

She claims she got a huge amount of inspiration from watching the character Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

The character she played was constantly being underestimated in her skills because of her looks, and was the perfect person to get in touch with this energy.

The Australian actress found Elle Woods "incredibly smart" but knew she was "underestimated because of their looks."

She said, "Every day I would do the monologue from Legally Blonde."

Margot Robbie has definitely made a name for herself in the last few years, playing a variety of major roles. What will she take on next?
