Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt Wear Nearly Identical Dresses at Governors Awards

The actresses wore similar sleek black gowns to Tuesday's event

Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt were stylishly similar at the 14th Governors Awards on Tuesday!

The actresses were amongst the many A-list attendees present to see Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks, and editor Carol Littleton receive honorary Oscars. Michelle Satter, the founding director of Sundance Institute's Feature Film Program, was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

For the occasion, Robbie, 33, strayed away from her traditional Barbie-inspired fashion, wearing a long black gown that had a silver embezzled plunging neckline and two waist cutouts.

Her red carpet look was paired with Kwiat jewels and a pair of Fred Leighton 1950s diamond and platinum waterfall earrings.

Blunt, 40, wore a sleeveless deep V-neck gown from Miu Miu. The dress had a glittery silver design at its center and was paired with matching Tiffany jewels.

The Oppenheimer star wore light blush and pink lips. While her hair was tucked behind her ears, similar to Robbie's, her light brown locks were parted to one side and had loose waves.

Robbie and Blunt also attended the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday.

Blunt wore a gold metallic dress and stunning Tiffany & Co. jewels sewn into her hair for the event. She was nominated for her performance in Oppenheimer and attended the event with her husband, John Krasinski.

The Office alum, 44, opted for a satiny red Dolce & Gabbana suit with a bright jacket and burgundy pants for his attire. He proved to be quite the trendsetter at the Globes as one of the two guys (along with Saltburn's Barry Keoghan) to rock a red suit, seemingly the one color on everybody's mind that night.

Robbie, also an award nominee, rocked a hot pink sequin Giorgio Armani Privé gown with a feather boa. The custom Giorgio Armani Privé design, inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie, was paired with over $3M of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Following the event, she attended an afterparty at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles wearing a black version of the dress that featured sequins and a V-neck cut, like its original.
