Singer Jimmy Buffett Has Passed Away At 76

Jimmy Buffett, the singer you know for many songs, including the '70s hit "Margaritaville," has died at age 76.

Jimmy's death was announced Saturday in a statement shared on his website.

"Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music, and dogs," read the statement.

Jimmy, a two-time Grammy-nominated singer, had found success in the '70s singing folk songs. His most popular hits include “Come Monday,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere" with Alan Jackson.
