NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After Tucker Carlson branded her a "lunatic," Maren Morris didn't just take the label in stride – she made T-shirts.

The country star reports that she's raised more than $100,000 for transgender-supporting organizations through sales of her latest shirt, emblazoned with the words "Maren Morris, lunatic country music person" along with the telephone number for the Peer Support & Crisis Hotline for trans youth.

Morris landed in Carlson's crosshairs after publicly criticizing Brittany Aldean. The social media influencer and wife of country singer Jason Aldean made waves last month after writing "I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life."

On Twitter, Morris had suggested Brittany Aldean was "a scumbag human," adding, "Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie."

Aldean responded with a new line of shirts emblazoned with the message "Don't tread on our kids," and appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to defend her stance last week

During Aldean's appearance, Carlson referred to Morris as a "country music person who I hope leaves country music immediately for the viciousness of her attack."

Proceeds from Morris' shirt will be split between GLAAD’s Transgender Media Program and Trans Lifeline.
