ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Grammy-winning artist Maren Morris announced her 2024 RSVP Redux Tour is coming to St. Petersburg in August.

The tour stops at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete on Friday, Aug. 17, with tickets going on sale April 26 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.

Morris, once one of the predominant women and artists in Country music, recently stepped away from the genre.

“I felt like I don’t want to say goodbye, but I really cannot participate in the really toxic arms of this institution anymore,” she told the New York Times’ Popcast podcast.

Morris recently performed at Billboard’s Women in Music event in Los Angeles and was recognized with the Visionary Award for her commitment to speaking out against injustices throughout her career, a press release said.

She has long been vocal about sexuality, femininity, politics and her acknowledgement of country music’s racist history.

Maren has partnered with Ally Coalition so that $1 from every ticket sold for her 2024 tour will go directly to LGBTQ+ organizations directly serving youth in their communities.
