The T.J. Martell Foundation, a charity focused on raising money for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research, has named a new president to its Board of Directors, three new members of the board as well as its board officers for this year in an announcement today.

Officers of the Foundation’s 2014 National Board are: Tony Martell  (chairman & founder of the T.J. Martell Foundation), Marcie Allen (president of MAC Presents), Marcus Peterzell (EVP of Ketchum Sports and Entertainment), Charlie Feldman (VP of Writer-Publisher Relations for BMI), David Salter (COO at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management), Tom Corson (president & COO, RCA Records) and radio legend Kid Leo (PD of Little Steven’s Underground/Sirius XM and President of LJT Entertainment).

2014 Advisory Members are: John Huie, co-head of Creative Artists Agency in Nashville and David Corlew, president of Blue Hat Records.

The Board of Directors for 2014 is: Marcie Allen, Jennifer Breithaupt, Troy Carter, Bob Chiappardi, Tom Corson, Derek Crownover, Marty Diamond, Wendy Dio, Paul Donahue, Charlie Feldman, Dick Gary, Elsa Gary, Bruce Gearhart, Jody Gerson, Daniel Glass, Lisa Ryan Howard, Charlie Jones, Joel Katz, Rick Krim, Kid Leo, Paul LiCalsi, Avery Lipman, Monte Lipman, Dennis Lord, Debbie Martell, Tony Martell, Glenn Nordlinger, Melissa Ormond, Marcus Peterzell, Marc Reiter, David Satler, Julie Swidler, Julie Talbott, Andy Tavel and Ron Wilcox.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was started by Tony Martell in 1975 following the death of his son, T.J., from leukemia. In that time the Foundation has raised over $260 million for research.
