Marcia Clark on the ‘Very Weird’ Experience of Seeing O.J. Years After the Trial

Marcia Clark, famed prosecutor from the O.J. Simpson murder trial, was on Ellen and talked about her encounter with the accused murderer 12 years after the trial ended.

When Simpson was charged with kidnapping and armed robbery in Las Vegas in 2007, Clark was covering the trial for Entertainment Tonight.

“We were sitting in the cafeteria with the crew and nobody was in custody, everybody was out floating around, and so was he,” Clark said of Simpson. “And so I’m sitting there and he comes by and goes by the table: ‘Ms. Clark.’ ‘Mr. Simpson.’ And that was that.”

Clark also addressed her relationship with co-prosecutor Chris Darden. The most recent episode of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story hinted at something beyond a working relationship. Clark said she wasn’t aware of any feelings beyond their working relationship, and just laughed when repeatedly asked by Ellen if they “made out.”
