While new moons are always dark in appearance, March's lunar phase has a bright side!

Occurring on March 10 at 1:00 a.m. PT, this lunation will be a new moon in Pisces and will coincide with daylight savings time — meaning, the days only get longer and brighter from here.

The new moon this month rises a few weeks before its corresponding full moon, nicknamed the Worm Moon, which is predicted to peak on March 25 this year. In contrast to beautiful full moon appearances, new moons blend in with the night sky.

Why? Because the moon is in the phase that is not being illuminated by the sun. However, despite its blacked-out appearance, new moons have just as much astronomical meaning in the cosmic world.

Signifying the 12th and final sign of the zodiac, Pisces and its water sign energy will be present during this month's new moon. Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE it will "stimulate the collective unconscious," as this zodiac sign signifies "ending, resolution and evolution of the human spirit and life cycle."

Furthermore, Thomas — who's known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, business executives and prominent influencers — says that Pisces energy "is closely tied to spirituality, creativity, soulmate connections, mysticism and healing."

He adds, "Just as all stories must come to an end, we can use this period to reflect on what we have built and experienced over the past year before we venture into Aries season with the coming arrival of the Spring Equinox on March 19, 2024."

"Prepare for some deep sleep and some profound dreams during this time," he adds, noting that it's also a beneficial time to "fantasize about how you'd like to build your life in the coming year."

"Focus on lessening anxiety and your mental health," Thomas says.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

It's time to get social, Taurus! Thomas says the new moon is "energizing your social life and network," which may inspire you to "catch up with your crew or attend a dazzling or romantic event."

Manifest and make a vision board. Prioritize which aspirations you'd like to pursue immediately and "start to make them happen," says Thomas.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Let's make moves, Gemini! Thomas says the new moon is "smiling upon your professional life and telling you to reach to higher echelons now."

He continues, "Fresh journeys await you in your career and you could even have a chance to step into more power, success or recognition." If you’re unhappy with your current progress, Thomas says to "work extra hard now and try to turn in a more fulfilling direction or look for a better job."

"You could be in luck!" he adds.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Broaden your mind and expand your horizons, Cancer. Thomas predicts March's new moon will "give you a chance to pursue new adventures that inspire you and then share that knowledge with others."

Thomas says some may decide to "pursue travel, immigration or international business relations now." Others, meanwhile, may feel drawn to "an academic path or a new media or publishing endeavor."

If spiritual, Thomas says you "could be called to fresh perspectives or become involved in a religious path." Regardless of what it may be, he says to "think outside of the box!"

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Think about your connections, Leo. Thomas says you "may become especially focused on negotiating a new way to stand together with someone in business or love."

"If there are imbalances, you’ll have an opportunity to speak up and have more of your needs fulfilled," he explains. "This same lunation could also trigger a shift around your finances, too."

This can come in the form of "a bonus, settlement, royalty check, investments or benefits package," he predicts.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You could meet your match, Virgo! The new moon "will smile so sweetly upon you," says Thomas, which can "give you the strength to unite with someone who mirrors you in love or business."

If you're single, he says you could have an increased opportunity "to meet someone with long-term staying potential." If you're in a committed relationship, he says you could "discuss taking the next step."

"Unions will be blessed at this time," Thomas adds.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Get ready to grind, Libra! Thomas says March's new moon "spotlights how you handle your daily routine," as well as "balance productivity with all the responsibilities on your plate."

While "more work could be handed to you from your employer" or "further tasks upon your shoulders from life in general," Thomas suggests you "truly assess your work-life balance now so you’re not burning yourself out."

If balanced, you'll be able to have more time for yourself!

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Love is in the air, Scorpio! Thomas predicts March's new moon will "fill your life with fun, passion and romance." He considers this the "most important lunation of the year for singles."

Get out there and "line up as many dates as possible," advises Thomas! "Someone truly special could light your heart and loins on fire."

If you're in a relationship already, Thomas says you could also "share in this sparkle" by "reigniting the spark" between you and your partner. "Do something fun and memorable," he suggests.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

There's no place like home, Sagittarius! Thomas says March's new moon will "highlight your domestic life" in contrast to your typical go-go-go mentality.

"You have an opportunity to make a change, whether in a redecoration or relocation," says Thomas. "You should be feeling more settled and joyous now, so enjoy these simple moments."

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It's time to be heard, Capricorn! The new moon is "amplifying your voice and ideas," says Thomas.

"This may give you the impetus to begin working on an exciting writing, speaking, advertising or branding project," he explains. "With your intellectual side activated, you could also learn many new concepts that help you step in exhilarating new directions."

Thomas predicts that "short-distance travel, catching up with your siblings and contractual matters" are also likely to occur during this time.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Keep your eyes on the prize, Aquarius! Thomas predicts this new moon "could bring a big win in your financial life" in the form of "an exciting job offer, raise, lucrative client or hefty check."
