The March music calendar in South Florida feels special, a uniquely diverse parade of favorite performers new and old (and older).

It began with weekend shows by Bob Dylan and the Eagles, and continues with Drake and Descendents, the Beach Boys and Burna Boy, Steve Vai and Steve Aoki, pop princess Olivia Rodrigo and Mavis Staples, the other queen of soul.

Here are some of the greatest hits.

Steve Hackett:The Genesis guitarist revisits the band’s influential album “Foxtrot” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Pompano Beach Amphitheater. Visit PompanoBeachArts.org/amp.

Bryan Adams: The charismatic singer will be joined by Eurythmics Songbook featuring Dave Stewart at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. Visit Ticketmaster.com.

Nicole Henry: A South Florida favorite, Henry will perform a show called “I Wanna Dance with Somebody: The Songs of Whitney Houston” at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7. Visit BrowardCenter.org.

Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Ricky Martin: The Trilogy Tour comes to Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise at 7 p.m. Friday, March 8. Visit Ticketmaster.com.

Mavis Staples:The soul-music legend performs at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami on Friday, March 8, at 8 p.m. Visit ArshtCenter.org.

Pink Martini:Thomas Lauderdale’s fun-loving orchestra, with vocalist China Forbes, will play the Miami Beach Bandshell at 8 p.m. Friday, March 8. Visit MiamiBeachBandshell.com.
