Moving into Week 3, we've got our Final Four set to spar in our Best Pizza in Brevard championship battle.

From Monday through Thursday, we asked you, our readers, to vote for your favorites. Most matches were blowouts, but one ... one was a tight race up to the final moments of voting.

We've got the details on our Final Four and we're letting folks from our 321 Flavor: Where Brevard Eats Facebook group provide their thoughts on the battling establishments. This week, voting will again remain open until 5 p.m. Thursday for you to keep your favorites alive in the pizza battle.

Mr. Delicious vs Genna Pizza Company

With more than 67% of the vote, Viera’s Mr. Delicious takes out 321 Flavor favorite for that Chicago-style thin crust, Doghouse Pizza. Mr. Delicious now takes on the behemoth Melbourne's Genna Pizza Company, who easily bested Times Square Pizza. How close was that race? It wasn't. Genna Pizza Company grabbed three votes for every one of Times Square's.

The specifics:

  • Mr. Delicious Pizza, 1950 Viera Blvd. Suite #101, Rockledge (321) 655-6555

  • Genna Pizza Company, 4301 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne (321) 242-3003

The comments:

Mr. Delicious: "Love the crust, but my favorite is the sauce. I always order extra on the side. Another plus, any leftovers taste like fresh when reheated. Mike Acosta and staff (some are family members) are awesome." - Pat Matyjasik Kiesselbach

Genna Pizza: "It’s like hanging with family. Not only is the food amazing (coal fired or oven cooked pizza) but the staff makes you feel at home." - Suzette Eisenlohr

Pozzy Bros. Pizza vs. Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta

Central Brevard chain Pozzy Bros. eked out the win over the Melbourne franchise of Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza, pulling in 55.15% of the votes. Pozzy Bros. now faces Brooklyn Pizza and Pasta. With 69.2% of the votes, the Rockledge eatery buried Cocoa Beach's Mangia & Bevi.

The specifics:

  • Pozzy Bros. Pizza, 4000 U.S. 1, Cocoa (321) 735-7049

  • Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta, 5410 Murrell Road Suite 211, Rockledge (321) 633-7003

The comments:
