Days after Marc Anthony's precious yacht went up in flames, he watched a miracle happen. The 51-year-old singer watched his godchildren be baptized over the weekend. The Grammy winner happens to be the godparent of good friends David and Victoria Beckham's children Cruz, 14, and Harper, 8. Marc Anthony shared the proud photos from the church on Sunday night, just a few days after his boat exploded in Miami. Posing with the famous British family, as well as fellow godparent Eva Longoria, the Latin singer was clearly proud to be apart of the life-changing event.
Posting a series of snaps from the day, J Lo's ex-husband captioned the photos, "So proud of my beautiful boy @cruzbeckham ❤." He also included a thank you message to his famous friends. "Thank you for the honor @davidbeckham & @victoriabeckham ! I’m over the moon! Here’s to life," he added while including a champagne glass emoji. In one picture, Marc Anthony is seen dressed up in a tux and standing next to the Beckham's 14-year-old son who is already passing his godfather in the height department.
All About The Beckhams!
In another snap, the singer, Eva Longoria, her husband, José Bastón, David and Victoria, and David Gardner are seen smiling alongside both just baptized children. Harper is posing next to her godmother while wearing a white dress with her hair up. Her famous designer mom looks gorgeous in all-white too, while Longoria opted for a tan blazer that she draped over her shoulders. Marc Anthony also shared another snap with all the Beckham boys including Cruz's brothers, Brooklyn, 20, and Romeo, 17.
His Yacht Explodes!
This is the first series of shots that Marc Anthony has shared on social media since the boat explosion. As The Blast reported, the singer's luxury yacht burst into flames and capsized in the waters near Miami, and the video of the boat engulfed is hard to watch. According to one local report, Anthony was not on board at the time of the fire "but six or seven crew members were on board and evacuated safely." The fire is under investigation, but it is said to be a total loss.
