While one goaltender with the Vegas Golden Knights is soliciting help for his design, another is proud to display the finished product.

With CCM, Marc-Andre Fleury has unveiled his latest in the vast collection of custom-designed masks that he’s worn throughout his NHL career – and his first branded in the Golden Knights theme.

Fleury’s known for his creativity – his previous works are essentially a celebration of all things Pittsburgh. But with no franchise greats to profile or preferred teammates to jot down on the back, he kept this one relatively simple.

One flank displays a knight on a horse carrying the Golden Knights-branded shield, while the opposite side features a mob of them with distinctive features of the Las Vegas strip in the background. He rounds it out with his classic gold cage.

Quality work – but if you believe you have the chops for a superior design, the Golden Knights are running a contest to design Calvin Pickard’s headwear. (It closes soon).
