Manitowoc brings Barbie-themed ladies' night to downtown and more things to do this week

1. Enjoy free youth admission at Farm Wisconsin

July 28 marks Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center’s fifth year of operation! To celebrate, they are offering free admission to youth all weekend July 27-29.

There will be fun activities and learning opportunities in addition to their regular exhibits, including a hands-on soil pit, deep dive into Blue Moon ice cream, and John Deere equipment.

2. Celebrate at Sabbatical Brewing’s birthday bash

There’s another birthday to be celebrated this weekend! Sabbatical Brewing, 835 S. 29th St., Manitowoc, is turning two, and they are marking the occasion with live music and new delicious brews from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. July 28.

Live music will be performed by Amelia Ford, Emmett Mulrooney and The Astronomers.

The best part? You don’t have to leave for food with on-site food trucks by Holla, Vue's Thai Street Food and Harvest Street.

3. Chill out at the Fat Seagull Street Party

Enjoy the sun and good vibes at The Fat Seagull’s Street Party with great eats and live music!

Dr. Bombay and Conscious Pilot play July 29 and The Dave Steffen Band plays July 30.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle for the local VA and a corn hole tournament on July 29 only starting at 1 p.m.

4. Find community at Lakeshore Pride

All are welcome to join in celebrating pride for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies at Seventh and Franklin streets (Stage Door Pub, 707 Franklin St.) from noon to 5 p.m. July 29.

There will be entertainment including live music, vendors, drag performers, storytelling and educational content.

After the party, there will be an 18-and-older pride event at Two Rivers' J.E. Hamilton Community House, 1710 W. Park St., Two Rivers.

5. Shop Ladies' Night in downtown Manitowoc

Calling all ladies! Put on your best pink and cutest shoes for a Barbie-themed night out of shopping in downtown Manitowoc.
