Mandy Moore & Shane West Had the Cutest 'A Walk to Remember' Reunion
This reunion is giving us all the feelings. On Monday, former A Walk to Remember costars Shane West and Mandy Moore reunited, and they even shared some of the cutest photos on Instagram for their followers to enjoy. The adorable get-together took place at Moore’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where she not only finally received a star, but in which West gave a speech honoring the This Is Us star.
During the ceremony, People reported West said the following about Moore and their time together filming the 2002 film based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel of the same name, “Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, but it also gave me the chanced to fall for this fantastic woman.” He continued, “Mandy, you are an absolute gem. Your smile is ridiculous, seriously it’s ridiculous, it lights up a room when you walk in. Your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none.”

The Gotham actor also said about his friend, “I always knew you were incredibly talented and I always knew you would go on to do big things, and amazing things and you have. Here you are about to be immortalized on Hollywood Boulevard. I couldn’t be more proud of you, I couldn’t be more happy for you. Love ya.”
As you can see below they shared pictures from their reunion and posted them next to throwbacks of their time on set of A Walk to Remember. They certainly have grown up a lot.
“Stars have always sort of been our thing,” Moore’s Instagram caption read referring to their characters, Jamie and Landon, studying the stars together in the movie. “Thankful to @theshanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember.”

West wrote next to his set of images, “One heck of a day for this lovely woman. Couldn’t be more proud of you @mandymooremm. Never stop smiling. Swipe to see the pic I found #babies.”
A Walk to Remember‘s director, Adam Shankman, also attended Moore’s special day and wrote on Instagram next to a photo of himself, Moore and West, “Well….this happened today. And I was a teary mess. So proud of our girl. ps I think we looking pretty dang good 17 years later!!!”
We agree, they all look beyond fantastic after all this time.

It was certainly a huge day for Moore filled with so many loved ones by her side, including her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, and all of her This Is Us costars. It’s lovely to see so many special people gathered to honor Moore and her major accomplishment.
