Mandy Moore Pays Tribute to Ex Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein on 10-Year Death Anniversary

Mandy Moore is remembering her ex-boyfriend, Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein, a decade after his unexpected death.

The "This Is Us" star took to social media to pay tribute to her famous ex, who died of an overdose on August 28, 2009.

"It’s been 10 years. There are so many times I still find myself wanting to tell you about something funny or strange or exciting," she wrote.

"I miss your contagious, guttural laugh and your hugs. The best hugs. Miss you every day but today is always hard."

The photo Moore shared is of DJ AM with a big smile and a rainbow in the background.

The duo were friends for several years before briefly dating in 2007 after reconnecting at a New Year's Party in Miami.

Just two months after they were linked as boyfriend and girlfriend, they decided to split. Even after their breakup, the actress and DJ remained close friends.

Moore even flew to Georgia to visit DJ AM in the hospital after he survived a plane crash with Travis Barker in 2008.

DJ AM was found dead in his New York apartment 10 years ago today following a drug overdose.

This isn't the first time Mandy Moore has paid tribute to her famous ex.

Just last year, she remembered DJ AM on the anniversary of his death too.

"9 years. I miss you every day, Adam. #djam," Moore wrote.

DJ AM & Nicole Richie:

Mandy Moore wasn't DJ AM's only famous ex.

He got engaged to Nicole Richie in 2005, but they broke up in late 2006.

Richie lead his star-studded funeral, which was held at Hollywood Palladium, following his death.

Other famous attendees included: Travis Barker, Lindsay Lohan, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
