Mandy Moore is celebrating her baby boy's first birthday!

The actress, 39, shared a carousel of sweet photos on Instagram Saturday as she and her family celebrated son Oscar “Ozzie,” who turned one on Friday.

“Turns out 1 is NOT the loneliest number when you have family like this to help you celebrate your birthday!” Moore wrote alongside the photos, which included some sweet shots of Ozzie with his older brother, Augustus “Gus,” 2, and dad Taylor Goldsmith.

A major part of the party was Ozzie’s birthday cake, which was made by Top Chef: Just Desserts alum Danielle Keene.

“Surprise, surprise- Ozzie LOVED @danielle_keene’s delicious (and adorable) chocolate and vanilla cake,” Moore continued in her caption. “Happy Bday, Ozzie!!”

The This Is Us alum also marked her son’s first birthday with a series of adorable photos documenting his first year of life on Instagram Friday.

“I honestly can’t remember a moment before this beautiful beaming ball of pure love was in our lives," Moore began her caption. "The days are long but the years are short is an adage that is proving SO relevant and real, as time oscillates between some strange hyper speed and slow motion."

She continued, "The happiest, smiliest guy who NEVER complains except to let us know if his food isn’t available fast enough and who has total 'you seem like your hands are full right now, I’ll just wait' second kid energy. I’m elated for all of the adventures and milestones ahead. We love you to the moon, Oz. Squeezing these babies extra tight these days. 💓."

Last month, Moore told PEOPLE that Ozzie was growing faster than she could keep up with.

“He's getting bigger and bigger every day, but I feel like he's going to eclipse his brother very soon," she said.

As for how her sons get along, Moore shared that Ozzie can’t get enough of his older sibling. "He just wants to mimic his brother," she said. "He is obsessed."

Moore added, "They're very sweet. I'm so grateful to have these two very, very sweet boys that love each other."

Earlier this summer, Moore told PEOPLE she was making the most of the extra time at home amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

“I went back to work with both of them pretty soon after I had them,” she said of her two boys. “A month with Gus and six weeks with Ozzie. So to not be working right now and to really have this concentrated family time is so special.”
