My closet has been filled with a considerable amount of tote bags for years. I lug them around for everything from my laptop to farmers-market hauls and take them with me to the beach, on weekend road trips, and flights. But right now, I’m constantly turning to one bag in particular: the Paravel Cabana Tote.
I fell for its vintage charm at first sight and love that it fits so much without looking bulky. The sustainably crafted canvas tote also has a water-resistant interior, as well as a large zippered pocket and two slip pockets for holding smaller items.

Some celebrities are fans of the brand, too. Mandy Moore was spotted walking in New York City with a large Cabana Tote that had her initials monogrammed on it. Kourtney Kardashian stuffed Paravel duffle bags with some of her favorite in-flight and travel items as part of a summer gift bag for Poosh. It's even earned a seal of approval from Oprah, who featured fold-up Paravel bags on her 2018 list of Favorite Things.

I’ve used the Cabana Tote for multiple outings, and love how the wide straps distribute weight evenly rather than digging into my shoulders and how the vegan leather handles give a comfortable grip no matter how heavy the load is.
Speaking of heft, I could easily fit everything I needed into the tote while I was on the go. For a flight, I carried my laptop and charger, a few books, and my toiletry bag. I also stashed two beach towels, sunscreen, a water bottle, a Bluetooth speaker, and a few magazines during beach outings. Plus, it held two pairs of sandals, two outfits, a swimsuit, and a cardigan over a weekend getaway. Talk about roomy!

The tote is available in four sizes (mini, small, medium, and large) and it comes in four hues: paloma, shandy, domino black, and marlin. It can also be monogrammed with your initials or an emoji for an extra fee. While the sensible tote doesn't come cheap, it's definitely worth the investment, since you'll get plenty of use out of it like I have.
