Manager Randy Kiyan Launches Ronin Entertainment

EXCLUSIVE: Randy Kiyan, the talent and literary manager most recently serving as the head of literary at Luber Roklin Entertainment, today announced the launch of his own management company, Ronin Entertainment.

Kiyan told Deadline that the company “will embody a sleek and nimble mentality that is best served to advocate and support artists in this ever-evolving entertainment landscape.” He added that the trust he shares with clients stems from “a mandate of clear communication of goals, and a passion to tell inclusive stories for broad audiences. We are unified in our commitment to integrity of our artform.”

Kiyan went on to express his gratitude to Luber Roklin principals Matt Luber and Lena Roklin “for taking a chance on me and providing the foundation and freedom to grow my business over the years, as well as my mentors, friends, and colleagues for their continued support. I have always admired the entrepreneurial spirit of my clients and those who have set out to build their own empires and am excited to join them with this next chapter of my career.”

Notable clients joining Kiyan at Ronin Entertainment include filmmaker Sydney Freeland (Disney+’s Echo, Netflix’s Rez Ball), director Blackhorse Lowe (Reservation Dogs, Outer Range), American Dad producer Yolanda Carney, Dark Winds co-producer Steven Paul Judd, director Yoko Okumura (Blumhouse/MGM+’s Unseen), Deidra & Laney Rob a Train scribe Shelby Farrell, filmmaker Bomani Story (Shudder/Crypt TV’s The Angry Black Girl And Her Monster), Echo actor and Hey Viktor! actor-filmmaker Cody Lightning, The Donut King helmer Alice Gu, Disclosure director Sam Feder, actor and comedian Blake Clark (The Waterboy, Toy Story franchise), How to Get Away with Murder co-EP Mike Russo, Reservation Dogs scribe Ryan Red Corn, and Andrew Lobel, who scripted Black Bear Pictures’ forthcoming psychological horror pic Immaculate starring Sydney Sweeney.

Kiyan spent nearly eight years at Luber Roklin in total, having prior to that transformational period worked at Principato-Young as a manager trainee. On his way up, he also held roles at the likes of Rothman Brecher Agency, Mandeville Films, Braun Entertainment Group, and VH1.
