A man casually ran into his doppelgänger while on vacation in Las Vegas.

The user @Seandouglasmcardle on Reddit posted a photo with his other half in the “Funny” forum, where it racked up nearly 100,000 upvotes.

“Today I randomly swam past my ‘doppelseaner’ at the Flamingo pool in Vegas,” the caption read. He explained in a later comment, “My name is Sean. Hence ‘doppelseäner,'” as opposed to “doppelgänger.”
“I was just swimming by in the pool and a big group of strangers were pointing at me and laughing. I got really self-conscious,” he wrote in a comment.
That’s when he looked back at his friends and saw them laughing at his doppelgänger.
“I immediately thought, ‘holy s*** that guy looks like the dude I see in the mirror.’ And my second thought was, ‘He looks cooler than me. Probably has real Club Master Ray Bans unlike my Zenni knockoffs,'” Sean added.
Although, despite the visual similarities, Sean admitted that the other man’s voice didn’t sound anything like his own but that the situation was “surreal” nonetheless.
“The glasses is the craziest part for me,” a Redditor commented.
“Tell me this is some made up story and really you’re just brothers for real. This is too much for me. I’m going to bed now,” another joked.
“Both of you look like prototype designs for Seth Rogen,” someone wrote.
“Brother from another mother,” a person said.
“This kinda stuff always makes me question if I’d recognize my doppelganger… like would I even realize?” a user wondered.
