Man And His Girlfriend Confront Mother Of His Daughter About Her Behavior

Bronwyn and Brett are in a contentious custody battle over their 5-year-old daughter, Bella. Bronwyn raised the little girl until she was 4, when she claims Brett “stole” the child from her. Brett claims once he learned he was Bella’s father when she was 3, he made attempts to see his daughter but that Bronwyn made it difficult. So, he says, he went to court and was awarded physical custody.

After coming face-to-face on Dr. Phil’s stage and getting into a heated argument, Dr. Phil interrupts.

“It’s clear to me that the two of you have a lot of unfinished emotional business that seems to be crowding out what needs to happen with this child,” he says to the young parents.
