Davis’ cause of death has not yet been determined, according to the reports.

Davis received a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of North Texas and a master's in international sustainable tourism, according to her online obituary.

Her friend Ellie Simmons told KVUE that Davis loved to paint and wanted to show it off around the world.
